A new model and handbook for Climate Education
On November 8, 2023, in WrocƂaw, during a conference organized by the Marshal's Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, we presented a Climate Education model and handbook for schools. This resource will enable teachers to work with students on climate change topics while fostering their agency and practical skills essential for the job market.

Around 250 participants took part, including representatives of youth from local primary and secondary schools, local businesses and NGOs, seniors, City Hall representatives, and other residents of Polkowice who are actively engaged in social dialogue on climate change and environmental issues in the Polkowice Municipality.

Polkowice Climate Dialogue
In recent years, we have increasingly witnessed unexpected and extreme weather events such as droughts, floods, fires, and ecological disasters. Many of these incidents could have been prevented with urgent actions in environmental policy. In response to these challenges, we established the Polkowice Climate Dialogue—an event that facilitates the exchange of experiences and cooperation between local government representatives, the scientific community, entrepreneurs, and residents.
