Code For Green at the Women in Tech Summit 2025!

On June 4–5, Warsaw will become an international hub for debate on the future of technology. During this year’s edition of the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit at EXPO XXI, 10,000 participants from around the world will come together — and among the 500+ speakers at the 2025 Summit will be Małgorzata Snarska-Nieznańska, President of the Code for Green Foundation, EU Climate Pact Ambassador, and member of the Expert Council on Climate Education at the Ministry of National Education.

Małgorzata Snarska-Nieznańska will speak on June 5 (Thursday) at 11:50 AM on the main stage of the conference during the panel discussion „Beyond ESG: Adapting Fast in a Changing Climate”. This high-level conversation will focus on how, in the face of escalating climate chaos, businesses, public administration, and the tech sector can adapt to a rapidly changing reality — going beyond traditional ESG indicators.

Together with Katarzyna Gronwald-Gil (Nordea), Alina-Stefania Ujupan (Head of Cabinet, European Commission), and Viktor Elbling, German Ambassador to Poland, the panelists will explore how to build real solutions that strengthen the resilience of societies, economies, and institutions. Małgorzata will share insights from working with educators and young people in Poland, highlighting how grassroots initiatives, education, and new technologies can empower citizens and drive lasting change in how we respond to the climate crisis.

This year’s Summit, organized by the Perspektywy Educational Foundation, will be held for the seventh time. In addition to core tech topics such as artificial intelligence, robotics, the future of semiconductors, and nuclear fusion, the conference will once again highlight the importance of equality, inclusivity, and social responsibility. The agenda also includes themes such as neurodiversity, the role of experienced women in the tech industry, and the creation of sustainable career paths.

Women in Tech Summit 2025 is also a declaration of climate care — the event will be climate positive, with its carbon footprint reduced and offset, among other measures, through the restoration of peatlands in the Lublin region.

A new feature will also debut at the event - Engineering Hallspace filled with groundbreaking technologies and engineering innovations. Participants will immerse themselves in the world of robotics, artificial intelligence, space technologies, future energy, materials engineering, biotechnology, and smart transportation systems. There will also be Career Zone - a career fair featuring hundreds of job offers, networking opportunities, and meetings with representatives of top tech companies.

On the main stage, world-class experts in emerging technologies will take the spotlight: Dr Malika Meddahi, Head of the Accelerators and Technology Section at CERN; Anna Topol, distinguished engineer and Chief Technology Officer at IBM Research; Magdalena Dziewguć, Country Director at Google Cloud Poland; Silvia Lenaerts, Rector of Eindhoven University of Technology and member of the EIT Board.

The highlight of the event will be the Gala Awards, during which the prestigious Top-100 Women in Engineering list will be announced – experts in AI, cloud computing, 5G, cybersecurity, and data science. This year, the main theme of the list is engineering, and from the hundred laureates, the top ten women engineers in Poland will be selected. Attention: for students of technical and science fields, participation in the conference is free.
